DBI - Sala Evolution System
|
|
Evolution is ideal for work on roofs or overhead cranes, operations in aircraft hangars, bridge maintenance or loading docks, railcar, arenas, rigging, warehouse distribution, piperacks, and a wide variety of other scenarios.
Installation options cover a wide range of roof types, materials and orientations.
Below are some of the more common applications of the evolution horizontal lifeline system.
|
|
|
evolution for Trapezoidal Roofing
The Evolution Horizontal Lifeline System, using the LEAP and TIP-OVER Post, can be fixed to the majority of standard trapezoidal type roofing systems, both on-site build up type or composite. Through application specific design, Evolution can be installed to allow up to 6 simultaneous users, on angles up to 15 degrees, allowing full access to the complete roofing area for maintenance and inspection purposes.
Utilising Structural Rivets or Stitching Screws to affix it to the roof sheet the integrity of the roof is not compromised. Should a fall occur no damage is sustained by the roof sheet, as the forces generated are absorbed by the Evolution system and the LEAP system. |

|
evolution for Standing Seam Roofing
The Evolution Horizontal Lifeline System, using the LEAP and TIP-OVER Post, can be fixed to the majority of standard Standing Seam type roofing systems, both on-site build up type or composite. Through application specific design, Evolution can be installed to allow up to 6 simultaneous users, on angles up to 15 degrees, allowing full access to the complete roofing area for maintenance and inspection purposes.
Utilising simple to install and non-penetrating clamping systems to affix it to the roof sheet the integrity of the roof is not compromised. Should a fall occur no damage is sustained by the roof sheet, as the forces generated are absorbed by the Evolution system and the LEAP system. |

Evolution for Membrane Roofing
The Evolution Horizontal Lifeline System, using the LEAP and TIP-OVER Post, can be fixed to the majority of standard membrane type roofing systems, both on-site build up type or composite, with
wooden or metal panel type decking. Through application specific design, Evolution can be installed to allow up to 6 simultaneous users, on angles up to 15 degrees, allowing full access to the complete roofing area for maintenance and inspection purposes.
Utilising simple to install toggle fixings to affix it to the roof sheet, and manufacturer approved re-weathering techniques adhered to the specially coated base plate, the integrity of the roofing system is maintained. Should a fall occur no damage is sustained by the roof sheet, as the forces generated are absorbed by the Evolution system and the LEAP system. |

Evolution for Steel Fix
The Evolution Horizontal Lifeline System can be fixed to any structure using clamping, through bolting or weld fix methods. Through application specific design, using the LEAP shock absorbers to minimise loads, Evolution can be installed to allow up to 6 simultaneous users, on angles up to 15 degrees, allowing full access to the complete working area.
Utilising stainless steel bolts and fixings, the Evolution Horizontal Lifeline can be adapted to suit any structure, and any length or configuration. By utilising the LEAP system, loads are reduced to an absolute minimum, ensuring no damage at all to the structural integrity of the steel structure to which it is fixed.
Mounted at any height, the Universal Intermediate Cable Guide is oriented to ensure ease of maneuverability along the entire length of the system using the Evolution Shuttle. |

Evolution for Masonry Fix
The Evolution Horizontal Lifeline System can be fixed to any structure using chemical anchors or through bolting.
Even retro-fitting to heritage buildings, and old masonry is possible due to the high levels of absorption of the LEAP system.
Mounted at any height, the Universal Intermediate Cable Guide is oriented to ensure ease of maneuverability along the entire length of the system using the Evolution Shuttle. |

Evolution for Masonry Fix (with SRL)
The Evolution Horizontal Lifeline System can be fixed to any structure using chemical anchors or through bolting to masonry or steel structures. Through application specific design, using the LEAP shock absorbers to minimise loads, Evolution can be installed to allow up to 6 simultaneous users, allowing full access to the complete working area.
Mounted using specifically designed overhead Intermediate Cable Guides and Corner Units, ease of maneuverability along the entire length of the system using the Evolution Shuttle is assured. Even using a Self Retracting Lifelineof up to 5 kg (11 pounds) proves no problem for the user, as the specific design of the Shuttle allows the passing of the Intermediates with no problem. Capital Safety Group recommend the use of the DBI-SALA Ultra-lok® range of Self Retracting Lifelines for use on overhead installations due to the in-built anti-ratchet design of the device. |
